[This is the application format you will be using when you apply to the site. Please, do not add any of your own categories to the template, and especially refrain from making up your own application format altogether (you will have to do it over). You must be a member already to apply. Remember, you cannot post in the OOC section or the roleplay boards until you are accepted. Actually, you can't post in the OOC section until you have ten posts, but that's a different story. Thanks, and good luck!]

If you're confused, this should give you a walk through of the exact requirements of this application.

Name

This sort of speaks for itself, right? Your character must have a first and last name. Remember that your character may not be related to any of the original Harry Potter characters. You may notice we have a few members that are related to some of the originals, but those are the only exceptions.

Age

The age of your character should be between ten and eighteen unless they are a professor. Professor ages don't matter (as long as they're atleast twenty years old). A student should have an age that goes with their year. For instance, if your character is seventeen, they should be in the sixth or seventh year. Your character could be, say, sixteen and in the seventh year, as long as he/she was turning seventeen soon.

Year

This school is just like Hogwarts. We only have years one through seven. As said in the above, your year should go with your age.

Class Taught

If you're a student, you may leave this out altogether. However, if you want to be a professor, please tell us what subject you'd like to teach. Make sure that the particular subject you want isn't already taken.

Mentally Disturbed, Spy, Animagus, or Regular Student?

If you've read the plot, this should be pretty obvious.

Personality Description

This section must be at least SIX sentences long. We just want general information about your character. Are they a sad person, or are they always perky? Do they like to laugh? Do they like to make people laugh? Are they smart or are they dumb? Are they mean or are they sweet? Are they clumsy or graceful? I think you get the picture. Be sure to make this description six sentences long!

History Description

This is a pretty broad topic. We want you to talk about your siblings (what are their ages, do you have any, etc.) and your parents. We want you to talk about where you're from, and what's happened so far in your life (if anything interesting). If your parents are animagus, we want you to tell us their animagus forms. This section must be at least seven sentences long!

Physical Description

Is your character fat or skinny? What color hair does your character have? Are they tall or short? Do they have freckles or are they pure tan? Does he or she wear glasses? You can either have four sentences here or a picture. Check the demo list in the application board to make sure your demo isn't taken, and if not, apply to take that demo.

Animagus Form

If your character has an animagus form, tell us about it.

Pet(s)

Be logical about this. A student wouldn't bring a tiger or a unicorn to school. Basically, they can bring most of the small animals to school (such as small dogs, kittens, rats, owls, frogs, etc). Your character can have a maximum of two pets.
